If you're as happy as I am with your Jessem router table, and find joy and bliss in the precision of the joints and work you create using it, and you get that precision by bumping your fence forward and back using your non-calibrated fist, then this micro-adjuster will up your router and joint making game to another level. Great device, well built as you would expect. And you only need one. Very satisfied.
I don't typically need to be fussy with my router table but I've ben making some frames and this gives you control that is really helpful when you are making a complicated molding using several cutters. I had to innovate to get it to work on my older Jessem table. However Jessem said that they'd machine the part to work for my table for an extremely fair amount. I just decided to do it myself.
Used to cut blind dovetails on the end caps for my workbench. The precision adjustment is amazing. I love Jessem products.
I have 4 Jessem products so far - TA fence, Router Lift, Clear-Cut Precision Stock Guides, and Miter Gauge. All of them are excellent quality and I rated them as 5 stars. Now I decided to add this micro adjuster for TA router Fence. The item came on time and well packaged. But when I tried to install it T-nut did not fit the T-slot on TA fence rail. I measured with my digital calipers and it turned out that "Leg" on T-slot on TA fence is 12.98mm wide but "Leg" on T-nut on micro adjuster is 13.1…1mm wide. I have to file the excessive 0.13mm from the T-nut and it start sliding perfectly into the T-slot. It took me me 15 min to realize what the problem was and fix it but I did not expected this from Jessem for $96 dollar item. Other than that I do not have any issues with it.
The micro adjust is well made like all JessEm products. Really easy to install and use as well. Allows me to dial the router table fence in more accurately and quickly.
I have been waiting for this fine turner !When using two the distance per each revolution is 1/32"
So I bought 2 of these for my router table. I understand you only need one, however, when you are making multiple passes, it is much easier to move the fence forward. It does take a second to adjust so you get full range, but well worth the effort.
