The product is in perfect working order, the only issue may be a mark or a nick/blemish on a certain part of the product that using is not visible without searching for it.

Locations of dowels can be pre-set in 1/8" increments, perfect for creating multiple dowel hole configuration. Built in alignment slot allows you to match up dowel holes that are spaced further apart for perfect aligned dowel holes. Constructed of precision CNC machined aluminum, anodized for durability and laser engraved for fast set ups. The indexing pins are made out of stainless steel on one of our three swiss lathes.
